SEL adheres to the CSR guidelines and norms set by the Government. Based on the broad guidelines, SEL is in the phase of adopting a comprehensive CSR Policy. Based on its CSR policy, SEL aims to strive for the development of periphery villages.
The development interventions shall cover a wide spectrum of development themes i.e., education, health, drinking water, sanitation, water conservation, road communication, clean environment, sports and cultural promotion for sustainable livelihood.
SEL believes in promoting quality and value based education. SEL aims to play a leading role in setting up a school for the people of Mirpur Sakro, Thatta to promote education among marginalized and vulnerable section of society.
SEL is also committed to ensure quality health services. As per its commitment, it aims to setup a well equipped, 14 bedded, hospital within the radius of project area which is open for all the stakeholder villages. Regular health camps shall be organized by specialist doctors throughout the year.
SEL understands the needs and aspirations of the under-developed villagers and aims to continuously strives to enhance their development journey by providing essential services like potable water to periphery villages, renovating water harvesting bodies, planting trees, promoting rural sports among a host of other community centered activities.
SEL believes in the concept of, “benefit sharing” and “inclusive growth”. It considers the people from the nearby villages as the stakeholders and shall relentlessly work for their socio-economic development.
