Siachen Energy Limited (“SEL”) was incorporated, under the Companies Ordinance, 1984 Pakistan, as a public, unquoted company with the objective of setting-up of a Solar Power Generation Project, having designed capacity of 200MW, divided into two phases of 100MW each.

The site of the project is situated at Taluka Mirpur Sakro, District Thatta, Sindh. SEL intend to implement the project on fast track basis and expect to start production in 12 months after financial close of the first phase. SEL has employed turn-key consultants, financial consultants & legal consultants for the project, having the vast experience and field related expertise.

SEL aims to play a significant role in the power sector of Pakistan by contributing in many areas: with the most modern photovoltaic plants, with sustainable solar energy projects and innovative technologies that increase efficiency.

SEL and its management are confident to achieve these goals within the stipulated time set for these targets to commence production of the first phase of the project. Second phase of the Project will follow shortly after the inauguration of the first phase.
